Benefits and requirements

Mitarbeiter/Employee in DATEV Personal offers the following advantages:

  1. Central and simple employee data management
    • Employee data (e.g. address, bank details, tax details) can be entered or updated directly and digitally.
    • All changes are automatically and securely transmitted to us – no additional effort for manual forwarding.
    • The standardised input and direct data transfer prevent transmission errors.

  2. Relief for the HR department
    • Standardized and structured recording of all relevant employee data in one central location.

  3. High data security and legal conformity
    • Protection of sensitive data through modern encryption and access controls.
    • Uniform data basis between client and tax consultant – no double or incorrect recording.

A DATEV authentication medium and the right to access are required to use DATEV Mitarbeiter/DATEV Employee. If additional users are required, the form for requesting a DATEV access medium can be completed quickly and easily.

Introduction

We have put together some practical tips and tricks to help you make the most of these benefits.

Notice: Unfortunately, DATEV has not yet fully translated the programme. To make it easier to use, we write all untranslated words in the following form: German/English

To open the programme, first start DATEV Personal.

In the overview, please first click on the “Änderungen erfassen”/”Enter changes” button under Employees.



Notice: If a new employee has been created in Personaldaten/Personnel data, no changes can be entered until we have transferred the employee to our payroll accounting programme.


Change employee data
  1. Select the employee for whom changes are to be made and adjust the corresponding data.
  2. Then click on “Speichern”/”Save”.


    Notice: The data can only be changed for the current payroll month. For backdated changes, please contact lohn@jakus.tax


  3. Then please approve the changed data as described in the next section.

Approve changes

Once all changes have been made for all employees, please switch back to the employee list and click on the “Änderungen freigeben”/”Approve changes” button.



The employees of the various teams will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
