The application DATEV Arbeitnehmer Online Cockpit/DATEV Employee Online Cockpit offers our clients the following advantages:
A DATEV authentication medium and the right to access are required to use DATEV Arbeitnehmer Online Cockpit/DATEV Employee Online Cockpit. If additional users are required, the form to apply for a DATEV access medium can be completed quickly and easily.
We have put together some practical tips and tricks to help you make the most of the benefits.
In the first step, DATEV Arbeitnehmer Online Cockpit/DATEV Employee Online Cockpit must be opened.
Note: Access is only possible via the link – not via DATEV Personal.
Notice: Unfortunately, DATEV has not yet fully translated the programme. To make it easier to use, we write all untranslated words in the following form: German/English
When accessing it for the first time, all or selected employees can be invited here. Afterwards, the number of already invited and registered employees is displayed here.
Note: Once employees have already been invited or registered, an invitation via this path is no longer possible. In this case, the invitation must be made via the employee list (see below).

All active employees are displayed here.

The employee list offers the following options:
There are two ways to invite new employees:
Option 1: Click on the three dots to the right of the respective employee in the list and select “Invite employee”.

Option 2: Open the desired employee in the list and click on “Invite employee” in the profile.

Note: After an employee has been successfully invited, DATEV sends a registration letter by post with a code that the employee can use to complete the registration.
If an employee no longer has the registration letter, the invitation codes can be viewed and exported here.
To do this, click on “Export invitation codes” in the employee list. The codes can then be viewed and exported for selected employees if needed.

If an employee needs a new invitation code, it can be generated directly in the employee profile using “Send new invitation code”.

Note: Invitation codes can only be resent, viewed, or exported if the employee has already been invited but not yet registered.
There are two ways to deactivate an employee – depending on the registration status:
Option 1: If the employee has been invited but not yet registered, open the employee, click on the three dots in the top right, and select “Cancel service”.

Option 2: If the employee is already registered, open the employee and click directly on “Cancel service”.

Various settings can be made here regarding the automatic invitation of employees, the transmission method, and the time when the payroll documents are made available.

The following options are available in the settings:
Under “Automation”, the following options can be enabled by checking the boxes:
